Behind the scenes, market organizers all over Toronto are finalizing season dates, vendor lists and exciting plans for the 2009 outdoor market season.  We may be up to 24 farmers’ markets in Toronto this year, and counting!

On the farms, the preparations are well underway, with the first seedlings up in the greenhouses, promising the earliest possible spring crops.  More customers are appearing each week at our year-round markets now, too, enjoying these longer and brighter days.  A great market year lies ahead!
