This month, Toronto Farmers’ Market Network participants are looking forward to getting together to review the year’s outdoor season and discuss plans for the future.  With our local food scene growing rapidly, there’s lots to talk about!  We’re eager to keep strengthening Toronto’s markets, for the benefit of our region’s farmers and our neighbourhoods.
On November 22nd, The Stop’s Green Barn Farmers’ Market will move into its new home in one of the former streetcar barns near St. Clair and Christie, now the Artscape Wychwood Barns, a wonderful re-purposed facility.  The market will be held every Saturday morning from 9 to noon.
For another chance to meet Ontario farmers, don’t forget the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, on from November 7th to 16th.
