Spring has sprung, and we all know what that means. It’s outdoor market season again! It’s time for fresh greens, tender baby onions, asparagus that tastes like asparagus again, bedding plants and seeds for the garden, honey, cheese, bread, fish, beef, delicious chutneys and pestos and the first fresh flavours from a swirling green cornucopia of Ontario grown local goodness.

Grab your bundle buggy or ride your bike to a market near you. You’ll meet farmers who grow your food, wildcrafters who find your food, vendors who cook it all for you, and lots of your neighbours and friends enjoying the fresh air and the return, once more, of the sun and the longer days for shopping fun and “friendly gossip”. Your local Farmers’ Market is the place to go to find every kind of spring pronouncement you need.

Our list and map will help you find the season dates and locations of farmers’ markets all around Toronto. Please visit us often; we’ll be adding lots more information for customers, vendors, and market organizers on this site.
